We are looking for a Senior Sales Engineer to join our South Majors team. This role is based in Texas, reporting to the Senior Sales Engineering Manager for the Americas Field Sales team. You will be responsible for architecting technical solutions that directly address and resolve critical customer pain points. You will serve as a technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, ensuring that Zscaler solutions are perfectly aligned with customer goals and technical requirements. Creating and delivering technical product presentations to prospective customers where you will promote the value proposition of Zscaler products

Gathering customer technical requirements to ensure proposed solutions will meet customer goals and needs

Leading product evaluations and custom product configurations

Overseeing the technical sales process

You are customer‑obsessed. You build deep empathy for the customer—both internal and external—and anchor your decisions in solving their real‑world problems. You view change as an opportunity and setbacks as temporary. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

7+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Systems integrator

Knowledge of network security technologies

Experience working with large enterprise and major accounts

Demonstrate strong AI fluency by leveraging coding assistants, LLMs, and Generative AI tools to accelerate troubleshooting, solution design, automation, and customer problem‑solving, while applying sound technical judgment to validate outputs
