They instruct in all levels of EMS education courses in the National EMS Education Standards framework, refresher education, and standardized specialty courses.

Presents content for each course as mutually established with the Training Manager.

Serves as an instructor/facilitator for patient care scenarios as well as skill labs using Program established teaching, evaluation, and testing tools.

Assists staff with the maintenance of Program equipment.

Maintains accurate documentation of student performance.

Evaluates students in all three domains (cognitive, psychomotor, and affective), provides feedback to students and maintains documentation.

Uses discretion and maintains confidentiality regarding student information.

Demonstrates an appreciation of cost factors in the routine performance of duties.

Ability to deliver educational presentations applying principles of adult learning.

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.

Education/Certifications:

Teaching Assistance preferred
