Defense Attorney- REMOTE

Criminal defense law firm seeking zealous attorney interested in making an additional income by joining our firm as an independent contractor.

Errors and omissions coverage provided for each case

Flat fees are mutually agreed to based on the facts and circumstances of each case

Additional fees are paid for substantive motions, contested hearings, and trial days

Extraordinary fees available for cases that become time-intensive

Case Manager assigned to each case to assist as client liaisons

Requirements:

Licensed attorney with five years of experience

No misconduct and in good standing with the State Bar

Act ethically at all times and exhibit professionalism while zealously defending clients

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to remain professional while dealing with a wide variety of personalities.

Excellent knowledge of computers and software, including MS Word, MS Excel, PDF Editing Software, Practice Management Software.

Prior experience working collaboratively with others to develop and implement action plans.

Ability to think critically about each potential case, identifying strengths/weaknesses as well as causes of action and potential themes.

Ability to handle cases independently from intake to trial'

Work Location: Multiple locations Work Remotely Temporarily due to COVID-19

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $54.00 - $400.00 per hour
