Overview

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Utah in the Department of Internal Medicine invites applications for a full‑time board‑certified, or board‑eligible, non‑invasive cardio‑oncologist with an interest in academic practice.

Position Profiles

Position/Rank: Cardio‑Oncologist

Department: Internal Medicine – Cardiovascular Medicine (Cardiology 00226)

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Track: Track Dependent on Qualifications

Start Date: Upon Hire

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient cardio‑oncology services, including assessment, monitoring, and management of patients with cancer and cardiovascular disease.

Participate in inpatient and outpatient cardiology/HF services.

Engage in clinical rotations in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.

Mentor and teach medical students, residents, and fellows.

Contribute to clinical research and pursue scholarly activities.

Minimum Qualifications

Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Cardiovascular Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM).

Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Utah.

Prior clinical exposure to cardio‑oncology and/or completion of a cardio‑oncology fellowship.

Strong commitment to teaching, research, and clinical service.
