Material Handler ForkliftOur client, a leading organization in the logistics and warehousing industry, is seeking a Material Handler Forklift to join their team. As a Material Handler Forklift you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting inventory management and order fulfillment. Job Title: Material HandlerLocation: Miami Lakes, FLPay Range: $16.00Shift: 2nd, Monday - Friday, 2:30pm to 11:00 pm; 3rd, Sunday - Thursday, 10:30pm to 7:00amWhat's the Job?Willingness to be trained on and operate equipment such as order pickers, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts, and overhead hoists.Safely perform material handling and warehousing processes including receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing, and shipping of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.Lift up to 50lbs, push, pull, bend, squat and moving objectsOperate handheld scanners to access and update information for receiving, counting, and order processing.Report defects and identify needs for repairs to ensure smooth operations.Perform housekeeping functions to maintain a clean and safe work environment.Ability to operate equipment such as cherry pickers, reach trucks, and forklifts is preferred.At least 1 year of consecutive work experience in Warehouse role AND operating ForkliftDemonstrated safety mindset with consistent use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures.Adaptability to work in changing temperatures and overtime when required, with eagerness to learn new processes.Temp to perm opportunity based on performance and attendanceOpportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.Gain valuable experience in warehouse operations and equipment handling.Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
