Job Summary:

A Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is sought for a 13-week assignment starting on 07/13/2026. The nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring patient safety. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Required Qualifications: Active BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Certification prior to first shift. Certification and education requirements include licensure as a registered nurse, with a minimum of 0 years of experience explicitly required, though a minimum of two (2) years bedside clinical experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities include performing nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission, participating in patient rehabilitation programs, initiating discharge planning, providing patient and family education, documenting assessments and interventions timely and accurately, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

The nurse will also provide supervision and training to ancillary nursing personnel, contribute to a safe environment, and participate in team building activities.

The role may include charge responsibilities following an orientation period, with opportunities for ongoing professional development.

Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
