Summary Provides optical care by measuring, fitting, and adapting lenses and frames according to written optical prescription or specification. Assists customers in selecting frames. Prepares work orders for optical laboratory and verifies exactness of finished glasses.

Adjusts frame and lens position to fit the client and for optimal vision.

Complies with the organization's established policies.

Evaluates prescription in conjunction with client's vocational and avocational visual requirements.

Recommends specific lenses, lens coating, and frames to suit client needs.
