Tax Preparer/bookkeeping/payroll

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

1-2 years of public accounting or relevant accounting experience

Understanding of core accounting and tax principles

Strong organizational and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

Prepare individual, partnership, corporate, and other tax returns

Assist with monthly and quarterly accounting and bookkeeping engagements

Prepare workpapers, reconciliations, and journal entries

Support payroll tax, sales tax, and other compliance filings

Assist with trial balance preparation and financial data analysis

Communicate with clients and internal teams to support engagement delivery

Identify and escalation issues to senior team members as needed

Maintain accurate and organized documentation

Stay current on tax and accounting developments
