Human Resources Generalist - Payroll/Recruitment (Full Time)

POSITION SUMMARY The Human Resources Generalist will assist the HR department to plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, and activities of the Human Resource (HR) department primary through benefits administration, employee relations, onboarding, recruitment/employment, payroll, employment law compliance, and overall departmental support.
Ensure employee files are accurate, complete, and in compliance with policy
Ensure timecards and all other required information are accurate and approved for payroll
Assist with the recruitment process: open positions, filter applicants, send offer letters, offer packets, ensure onboarding and new hire checklists are completed, facilitate HR onboarding.
performance and talent management; and training and development
Assists with ensuring training compliance throughout the division
Ensure company compliance with FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, FMLA, FLSA and other federal, state, and local laws
Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.
Assist in project work in the area of employment, employee communications, employee events, benefits and salary administration.
Responsible for managing employee recognition platform.
Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, both internal and external.
High school diploma or equivalent
2 or more years of experience in a clerical environment
Prior HR experience or education, preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems
Ability to work independent of daily supervision
Ability to apply policies and procedures and to maintain good relationships with employees.
Ability to work in a team environment through building positive productive relationships

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.

PTO accruals are dependent on position, status (Full time or Part time), and years of experience in accordance with our PTO policy. Most Full‑Time employees are also offered 6 paid holidays and Part Time employees are offered pro‑rated paid holidays.
