Apex Staffing Services is hiring Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. We are looking for Full Time candidates for a Senior Living Facility (SNF). In this position, you will assist patients with their daily living needs, provide compassionate care, and generally increase their quality of life. Responsibilities may include monitoring vital signs, assisting with hygiene needs, and communicating with nurses and doctors. As a CNA on assignment with Apex, you'll provide direct resident care at our partner SNFs, including:

Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transfers, feeding
Repositioning residents per facility protocols to prevent pressure injuries
Reporting changes in resident condition
Documenting care accurately in the designated medical system
Maintaining a safe, clean, and respectful environment for residents
Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises
Provide adjunct patient care
Monitor food intake
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
Active NY State CNA certification in good standing (verifiable through NY State Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry)
High school diploma or equivalent
Up-to-date immunizations and ability to complete pre-assignment health screening (TB, MMR, Varicella, Hep B, Tdap, annual flu, COVID-19 as facility requires)
Strong communication skills, patience, compassion, and respect for residents and their families
