Spiller Bowling Green Veterans Center is a skilled nursing facility that cares for theCommonwealth of Kentucky's Veterans. Our mission is to Serve Kentucky's Veterans by fostering independence,preserving dignity, and providing compassionate care.
The Registered Nurse position is responsible for caring for the Veterans of the Robert E. Spiller BowlingGreen Veterans Center.
We have 2nd and 3rd Shift positions.
Performs nursing duties under direction of a physician.
Performs medical treatments and administers medications as prescribed.
Collects assessment data and cares for our veterans within the scope of the RN clinical skills.
Supervises other clinical staff in administering care to the residents and documents essential information.
This job classification is approved for the following shift premiums, in compliance with 101 KAR 2:034 Section 9(2), which are applied to the base salary:
Second & Third shift: 15%
Weekend: 25%
Holidays: 25%

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Must be licensed in Kentucky as a registered nurse or possess a valid work permit issued by the Kentucky Board of Nursing. Work is typically performed in a hospital or institutional setting.
