The Line Cook PM plays a critical role in the evening kitchen operations, ensuring the timely and high‑quality preparation of food items according to established recipes and standards. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workstation while collaborating closely with other kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences. The Line Cook PM must efficiently manage multiple orders during peak hours, demonstrating strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail. This role contributes to the overall success of the kitchen by adhering to food safety regulations and supporting inventory management. Ultimately, the Line Cook PM helps uphold the restaurant’s reputation by consistently producing delicious and visually appealing dishes in a fast‑paced environment.

Previous experience working as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role.

Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment during evening hours.

Culinary school training or certification.

Experience working in a high‑volume restaurant or hospitality setting.

Familiarity with various cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.

Knowledge of inventory management and ordering processes.

Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines during the evening shift.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations, following all health and safety regulations.

Coordinate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient service during peak hours.

Monitor food quality and portion sizes to minimize waste and maintain consistency.

Assist with inventory control by reporting low stock levels and properly storing ingredients.

The Line Cook PM uses their culinary skills daily to prepare dishes that meet quality and presentation standards, ensuring customer satisfaction. Time management and multitasking skills are essential to handle multiple orders simultaneously during busy evening shifts. Communication skills facilitate effective teamwork and coordination with other kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations. Attention to detail is critical for portion control, food safety compliance, and maintaining a clean workspace. Additionally, problem‑solving skills help address any unexpected challenges quickly, such as equipment issues or ingredient shortages.
