Role Description The Medical Office Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role located in Elgin, IL. This position is responsible for greeting patients, answering and directing phone calls, and managing the front desk in a professional and courteous manner. The receptionist coordinates with clinical and billing staff, processes necessary forms, and maintains organized patient records. This role also involves handling patient inquiries, managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, and supporting day-to-day office operations to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Qualifications Strong Phone Etiquette skills, including answering calls professionally, routing inquiries, and providing clear information.

Experience with Appointment Scheduling and calendar management in a medical or healthcare setting.

Knowledge of Receptionist Duties in a Medical Office, such as patient check-in/out, registration, and front desk organization.

Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare environment required.

Proficiency with basic computer applications and electronic health record (EHR) systems is an advantage.

High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in medical office administration is a plus.
