Quality Engineer - PCBA & Electro-Mechanical Systems
Join a Teledyne Technologies business advancing defence and public safety missions through sensing, surveillance, and unmanned systems. As a Quality Engineer, you'll help ensure the reliability of PCBA and electro-mechanical products used in demanding environments. You'll work across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to strengthen processes, drive defect reduction, and ensure audit-ready compliance.
If you enjoy solving complex quality issues and leading data-driven improvements, this is a hands-on role with real mission impact.
Develop inspection plans for manufacturing and assembly processes
Lead root cause analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone, FTA) and manage CAPA/FACAR
Own incoming inspection and guide QC personnel
drive SCARs and performance gains
Advance Lean/Six Sigma efforts and reduce COPQ
Track KPIs and present clear, data-driven insights
Enable cross-functional alignment on quality standards
Experience with ISO 9001, CAPA, SPC, supplier quality
Required: 5+ years in manufacturing/PCBA assembly quality
Required: Data-driven mindset and effective cross-functional communication
Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
Advantage: ASQ CQE or Lean Six Sigma certification
Strong engineering culture and technical depth
Exposure to advanced sensing and electronics manufacturing
