As Pool Bartender you will be responsible for crafting classic and creative alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages, engaging with customers, and ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience. Creativity, knowledge of mixology, and excellent customer service skills help establish the operation’s reputation as a go-to destination for exceptional drinks.GENERAL DUTIES:* Maintains a working knowledge of full food and drink menu while making recommendations* Create a diverse range of handcrafted cocktails, mocktails, and other specialty beverages with precision and flair, using high-quality ingredients, techniques, and garnishes. Provide exceptional customer service by warmly welcoming guests, engaging in friendly and professional conversation, and understanding their preferences. Efficiently and accurately take drink orders, prepare them promptly, and serve beverages with attention to detail and presentation. Ensure all orders are prepared in compliance with company standards and specific customer requests.* Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all glassware, utensils, and bar tools are sanitized and readily available. Adhere to safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling and storage of ingredients.* Uphold company policies and procedures, including adhering to work schedules, dress code, and attendance guidelines.* Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures* To ensure that all perishable items used behind the bar are labeled/dated and responsible for rotating and throwing away to maintain quality control* Performs opening side work and set up station* Attends and participates in any training sessions, department meetings* Proper serving of wine and alcohol (with awareness)* Properly executes closing procedures* Follow high standards of food product, sanitation, storage, and handling procedures* Provides guest check promptly and returns receipt promptly* Keeps all service and table areas clean, organized, and stocked* Provide engaged, friendly and attentive customer service to all guests inclusive of eye contact respectable conversation and smiling* Practice highest regards for safety within all areas and with all materials* Follow and adhere to all standards set forth by federal and state guidelines* Have knowledge of state and federal liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcohol* Perform other related activities as assigned by management* Guarantee neat and quality service* Participate in daily shift meetings* Follow company cash handling and payment tendering procedures with care* Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; complete safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materials.* Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards with self and colleagues.* Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.* Embody the 1 Hotels Vision, Mission and Compass; deliver on Our Promise, provide Good-Natured Service and uphold our Brand Pillars.Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.* Prior bartending experience* Proficient in verbal and written English communication* Are organized and proficient at multitasking* Are a reliable team player willing to learn and adapt to new situations* Strong communication and customer service skills* Able to lift at least 50 lbs.* Able to stand for long periods of time* Food Handling certification (can be obtained during employment)* Flexibility to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.
