Insurance Defense Paralegal - Remote

Pollart Miller LLC was founded in 2003 as a firm that exclusively represented employers and insurance carriers, with a focus on workers' compensation and subrogation. Our practice areas have also expanded to include Worker's Compensation Defense, Appellate Law, Labor and Employment Law, General Insurance Law, Civil Litigation, Subrogation and Recovery.
We are seeking a knowledgeable, driven, and talented Work Comp Defense Paralegal within Colorado with 2-3 years of workers' compensation defense experience. Managing task lists, calendars, and case lists with a proficient understanding of the Colorado Workers' Compensation Act, Colorado Workers' Compensation Rules of Procedure, and the Office of Administrative Courts timelines and procedures
Preparing summaries of discovery, medical records, claim files, and depositions
Drafting of responsive pleadings, motions, and discovery
Scheduling Independent Medical Evaluations, Division IMEs, Depositions, Samms' Conferences, Demand Appointments, Hearings, and docketing court mandated deadlines
Produce quality work product (spelling, punctuation, etc.)
Hybrid and full remote work environment. (United Healthcare health plans and MetLife dental and vision insurance.
