Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Telemetry for a travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This role involves working with patients experiencing MI, CHF, Arrhythmias, PVD, and some med-surg overflow. The nurse will manage many cardiac drips without titration in a competent and independent manner.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Telemetry - Travel

Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols; monitor for side-effects and effectiveness
Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given
Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers

Requirements of the RN - Telemetry - Travel

• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• RN License in state of employment or compact
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
