This role is ideal for machinists who enjoy hands-on setup work, CNC programming, troubleshooting, and producing high-quality components in a clean, organized environment.Candidates should have at least 3 years of CNC machining experience, with additional experience strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing complex machine setups, editing programs, reading blueprints, and working independently with minimal supervision.What You'll DoSet up and operate CNC lathes and mills for both simple and complex machining operationsGenerate, edit, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software and MastercamSelect, install, and replace tooling including inserts, drills, and end millsPerform machine setups, workholding installation, zeroing, and tooling offset verificationInterpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to determine machining requirements and tolerancesTroubleshoot machining issues and make program adjustments using G-code and CNC controlsInspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipmentVerify program modifications and ensure parts meet quality and dimensional specificationsMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work area following 5S principlesCollaborate with team members and leadership to meet production schedules and quality standardsQualificationsRequiredHigh School Diploma or GED3+ years of CNC Machinist experience (more experience preferred)Experience setting up and operating CNC lathes and millsExperience creating or editing CNC programs in a production environmentMastercam programming experienceWorking knowledge of CAD/CAM softwareAbility to read blueprints and technical drawingsUnderstanding of cutting feeds, speeds, tooling, and machining practicesAbility to read and modify G-code programsProficiency using calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring toolsStrong mathematical and problem-solving skillsPreferredAerospace manufacturing or aerospace machining experienceAdditional inspection and quality control experienceExperience working in high-precision manufacturing environmentsFamiliarity with continuous improvement and 5S methodologiesWhy Join Us?Direct hire opportunityFour-day work weekLong-term career stabilityOpportunity to work with advanced CNC equipment and CAD/CAM technologyClean, organized manufacturing environmentCollaborative team focused on quality and continuous improvementCompetitive pay based on experiencePay: $27.00 - $40.00/hrLocation: Phoenix, AZSchedule: 1st and 2nd Shift AvailableThis is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, AZ.The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $83200.00/yr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Medical Dental Vision Life and AD&D Insurance Disability insuranceThis is a fully onsite position in Phoenix,AZ.This position is anticipated to close on Sep 7, 2026.
