Practice Setting and Clinical Scope
As an Interventional Cardiologist, you will join a hybrid practice setting involving both clinic-based and hospital-based care. The facility, recognized for its commitment to patient-centered care, is designated as a Level II Trauma Center. You will provide expert cardiac care to adult patients, handling a mix of approximately 60% inpatient and 40% outpatient cases. The cath lab sees a volume of 4-6 procedures daily, offering a robust environment for procedural proficiency and growth. Equipped with EPIC EMR, the facility supports seamless integration of patient information across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Schedule and Assignment Details
The position entails a flexible yet structured schedule with approximately 4-5 shifts per week. You will engage in 2-3 clinic shifts operating from 8 AM to 4:30 PM and 2 cath lab shifts from 7:30 AM to 5 PM. Coverage is anticipated for 1-2 weeks per month, depending on staffing levels. The call schedule features approximately one night of weekday call and one weekend on-call shift, providing a balanced lifestyle. Your involvement will be essential in ensuring continuous, high-quality care for cardiac patients.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Cardiology, with Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology required
• 1-5 years of relevant experience preferred
• Active MI License or eligibility for IMLC required
• BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications required
• Proficiency in procedures such as cardiac catheterization, coronary angiography, and stent implantation
