As a Nurse Manager , you play a pivotal role in shaping the patient experience and supporting the clinical team. You’ll guide and mentor staff, strengthen workflows, champion quality improvement, and help create an environment where both patients and employees feel valued and supported.

Foster a positive, professional, mission‑aligned work environment.

Provide effective onboarding, ongoing training, and skills development for non‑provider clinical staff.

Support care coordination and clinical decision‑making to ensure high‑quality patient outcomes.

Provide direct patient care within RN scope as needed.

Identify and act on opportunities to improve patient care processes; participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Evaluate clinical competency for 90‑day and annual performance reviews; document results and provide coaching or remediation.

Maintain required logs, records, and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.

Assist with management and monitoring of clinical supplies and equipment.

Oversee the environment of care, ensuring adherence to infection control, safety, and emergency response policies.

Demonstrates knowledge of vaccine coordination processes—including VFC and private inventory management, temperature monitoring, NJIIS documentation, and VFC site survey requirements.

Other duties may be assigned as needed to support clinic operations.

RN; 3+ years of clinical nursing experience

1+ year of ambulatory care experience, FQHC preferred

working with thermometer, sphygmomanometer, stethoscope, otoscope, ophthalmoscope, needles, syringes, EKG machine, venipuncture equipment, other diagnostic equipment, spirometry treatment, culture mediums, telephone, fax, photocopier, computer, printer.
