Fircrest Golf Club is looking for an enthusiastic bartender to provide excellence in the guest experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding guests' needs and expectations.
Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
Interact with customers, take orders, serve snacks and drinks
Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
Check customers' identification and confirm it meets the legal drinking age
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Proven working experience as a bartender
Excellent knowledge in mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
Computer literacy
Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean
Two years relevant experience and/or training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Experience in private club preferred but not required.
Food Handlers and MAST Permit required.
Typical Bartender compensation at FGC is $52 - $70k per year. We utilize a tip pool for the mandated 18% service charge, plus many members offer additional gratuity that is distributed directly to their bartender or server. Fircrest Golf Club was designed by Arthur Vernon Macan and is nearly the same today as when designed in 1923. Fircrest Golf Club grew out of the woods with no homes, roads or businesses in the area, just a 165-acre parcel of land with rolling terrain that was turned into one of Macan's signature courses. Fircrest Golf Club has stood the test of time and provided its members, guests, and professionals with a challenge each time played.
