DDS or DMD required
Flexible and able to work rotating schedules, including working every other Saturday.
Comfortable working in a team-based environment.
Proficient in maintaining patient files and administrative tasks.
Job Description
The Dentist position for Walmart treats patients of all ages and tries to keep all in-house as much as we possibly can. However, our goal is to always do what is best for the patient, so if that means we do need to refer a child to a pediatric dentist or an oral surgeon we will. Most children under 4 will be referred, however, we may see any children aged 2 and up for checkups and cleaning only.
About the Role
Provide care to patients of all ages, with a focus on doing what is best for the patient.
Work with a fully staffed dental clinic team including another dentist, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and treatment coordinators.
Meet with the team regularly in staff meetings.
Manage patient files and administrative tasks.
Schedules are rotating to be able to provide full care to our patients
Example (not exact days): 3 days a week, and every other Saturday
You MUST be available to work this schedule, including the "every other Saturday"
