Weekend Registered Nurse - Day Shift

Operating Room Nurse

Circulate cases, help with turnover cleaning, transport patients when needed, schedule cases. General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, Gynecology. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept: 2 to 3 years at minimum of circulating cases in a hospital setting. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required: BLS, our client Hawaii RN license required for this position. Shift or schedule requirements: We currently operate from Monday through Friday from 0645 to 2315. Your shifts may be variable based on department needs. Travelers will be scheduled 40 hours a week, possibility of 32 hours if there is a holiday. Everyone is assigned call, on average 1-2 times a week plus up to 2 weekends a month. Must be within 30 minute radius of hospital for call back. The applicant will orient on the day shift for up to 1 week or under manager's discretion. Traveler must complete a minimum of 39 shifts during the duration of the contract if RTO (requested time off) is requested and approved. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept: we have 6 OR suites plus one dedicated to C sections.
