Part-Time Production Prep

Prep Cook (Large Batch Meal Production) at The Prep Daddy.
Location: The Prep Daddy Kitchen - Kearny Mesa
Type / pay: Hourly - $20-25
Responsibilities
Prepare large quantities of proteins, vegetables, rice, potatoes, and other ingredients according to recipes and production schedules.
Wash, cut, season, marinate, and portion ingredients for meal production.
Assist with cooking, cooling, and packaging meals while maintaining consistency.
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout each shift.
Properly label, rotate, and store ingredients using FIFO procedures.
Assist with inventory counts and notifying management when supplies are running low.
Help with kitchen cleanup and equipment sanitation at the end of production.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, meal prep company, catering, or restaurant preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Comfortable standing for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work efficiently under deadlines.
Food Handler Card required (or willingness to obtain before starting).
ServSafe certification is a plus.
