Head of Project Management

Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid)
Duration: 1 year with possible extension
Pay Rate Range: $60 to $65/hour

Required Skills and Experience
Skill Experience Required Project management experience 8+ years Public health or healthcare IT experience 8+ years PMP certification Required Agile or Waterfall methodologies Required Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, or a related field Required Master's degree Preferred CAPM or Agile certification Preferred Public health programs, clinical systems, or IT infrastructure experience Highly preferred Written and verbal communication skills Required
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Coordinate activities among internal teams, healthcare organizations, and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other applicable privacy standards.
Facilitate meetings, presentations, and communication plans.
Monitor project progress and prepare reports for leadership teams and funding organizations.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.
Promote the adoption of interoperability solutions and best practices.
