CarpenterPrimoris Heavy Civil is seeking skilled Carpenters for road construction projects in Houston, TX. This role involves constructing and repairing wooden structures, concrete forms, and other carpentry-related tasks essential to heavy civil infrastructure development.Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter's hand tools and power tools.Build and dismantle concrete forms, shoring, and scaffolding according to blueprints and specifications.Measure, cut, or shape wood, plastic, fiberglass, drywall, and other materials.Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.Work with other craftspeople such as concrete finishers, ironworkers, and laborers to ensure project completion.Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, and maintain a safe working environment.High school diploma or equivalent (GED).Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Carpenter in heavy civil construction, road construction preferred.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.Reliable transportation to and from job sites in the Houston, TX area.Primoris Heavy Civil provides highway, port, airfield, rail and marine (intermodal transportation) construction services to private commercial and industrial clients as well as governmental entities such as the Department of Transportation and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
