Supply Chain Management Logistician

LogisticianThe Logistician will support AISR (Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, & Reconnaissance) and SATCOM (Military Satellite Communications) for NIWC Atlantic (Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic) in North Charleston, SC. This position will provide comprehensive logistical support, including inventory management, supply chain analysis, equipment maintenance tracking, procurement support, and the preparation, review, and maintenance of key logistics documentation for SATCOM ground terminals, modems, routers, switches, encryption and related equipment.ResponsibilitiesSupply chain management - manage and track levels of critical DATCOM componentsEquipment maintenance tracking - maintain a comprehensive database of SATCOM equipmentProcurement Support - assist in the preparation of procurement requestsInventory management - conduct regular physical inventories of SATCOM equipment and materialsTransportation & Distribution - coordinate the transportation and distribution of SATCOM equipment and materials to various locationsData Management & Reporting - maintain accurate and up to date data in logistics databases and systemsLogistics Documentation - prepare, review, and update logistics documentationLicenses & Warranties - manage and track for SATCOM equipmentTechnical Manuals & Documentation - maintain library for SATCOM equipmentDisposition Plans - develop plans for the proper disposition of obsolete or excess equipmentQualificationsMinimum of 10 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related fieldBachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business management, or related field (years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree)Desired certification:Certified Professional Logistician (CPL)Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)Experience with SATCOM and supporting military or government programs with Logistics support for DoD and satellite communications systems.Possess strong organizational skills, and a detailed understanding of logistics principlesSecurity ClearanceActive DoD Secret clearance requiredTravelUp to 25%Benefits Systek offers a very comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, life, disability, and long-term care insurance, and also offers a 401k plan, paid time off, service anniversary awards, and tuition reimbursement.
