Financial Advocate- We Care
NYU Langone Health
NYU Langone Health is seeking a Financial Counselor to assist patients with understanding and meeting their financial obligations. You will evaluate financial status, coordinate with physician offices, and determine eligibility for hospital-based programs such as charity care and alternate payment arrangements.
The role requires knowledge of Medicaid, insurance eligibility, and third-party payer criteria, with strong communication and problem-solving skills to help patients navigate payment
