Job Summary:

Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Nurse position in Austin, Texas. The role involves caring for neonatal through young adult patients with congenital heart disease, surgical congenital heart defects, heart failure, arrhythmias, transplants, and ventricular assist devices, in a high acuity, fast-paced stand-alone unit. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
Location: Austin, Texas
Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; 2 years of Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit experience; Certifications include Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
Float: Float rotation may be required
Additional Information: The unit primarily manages patients with congenital heart disease/defects, surgical congenital heart defects, heart failure, arrhythmias, transplants, and ventricular assist devices, with an age range from neonatal to young adult, including occasional adult congenital heart disease patients.
