Rehab Therapy - PTA

Role Overview: The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides direct rehabilitation care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a skilled nursing facility setting.
Key Responsibilities: Follow patient-specific treatment plans, chart accurately and timely, utilize therapy software, and demonstrate excellent customer service.
Responsibilities Include

Assist in patient rehabilitation to improve functional abilities and quality of life.
Participate in interdisciplinary team efforts to deliver comprehensive care.
Ensure patient safety, rights, and confidentiality are maintained.
Assist in patient evacuation and support daily operations.
Maintain professional relationships with staff, vendors, and patients.
Adhere to company policies, laws, and regulations governing post-acute care.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program, hold an active state license, and preferably have one year of post-acute care experience. CPR certification is required.
Key Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, good body mechanics, decision-making skills, teamwork, professionalism, and strong communication abilities.
