Foodservice/Food Prep
Wet Willie's
We are currently seeking a Food Preparer in am or pm
Major responsibilities include:
Check in all deliveries to make sure the temperature and quality are met to our standards
Label and follow the FIFO method to keep all items rotated and used
Maintain a clean and safe kitchen area, including the prep area, storage and walk-in
Assure that all recipes and food procedures are followed
Coordinate food service with other departments as necessary
Assist with the purchase and inventory of the food supply
Follow all sanitation guidelines
Become familiar with any new menu items/dishes
Follow all break/ meal period policies
Requirements High School diploma or equivalent
Graduate of a culinary institute, military school or formal on-the-job training preferred
Minimum of 1 year of food preparation experience required
Experience with quantity food preparation preferred
Demonstrate cooking skills and ability to follow established menus and recipes
Knowledge of proper nutritional requirements
Must have a Food Service Sanitation Certificate
