Center Carpentry is hiring an experienced Lead Carpenter to join our residential remodeling and custom-build team. While this role is posted in Concord, all projects are based in Ashland, NH and the surrounding Central NH/Lakes Region . We specialize in high-quality renovations, additions, and custom residential work for homeowners who value craftsmanship, communication, and long-term relationships. We're a small, tight-knit team with high standards, a healthy culture, and a commitment to building work that lasts.
Lead daily production on residential jobsites, working hands-on with apprentices and journeyworkers
Plan work sequences, material needs, and daily goals to keep projects on schedule
Execute all phases of residential carpentry: framing, trim, cabinetry, windows/doors, siding, and finish work
Coordinate and supervise specialty subcontractors
Uphold company standards for quality, safety, and professionalism
Communicate regularly with the Project Manager on progress and needs
Train and mentor less-experienced carpenters
7+ years of residential carpentry experience , including custom and finish work
Proven ability to lead small crews and set the pace on-site
Strong skill set across framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry install, and exterior carpentry
Well-maintained professional hand tools (larger equipment provided)
