Carpenter Thoughtforms Location: Boston, MA (on-site; travel to local residential project sites required) About the role Thoughtforms is hiring a Carpenter to support residential construction projects with a focus on high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. This role works closely with the Construction Supervisor and other trades to deliver projects that meet design, quality, and safety standards. Responsibilities Perform general and finish carpentry, including layout, framing support, trim, cabinetry, and installation of doors and windows Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to execute work accurately Support site operations and coordinate with subcontractors and other trades Identify and resolve issues related to safety, quality, schedule, and materials Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized job site Follow all safety procedures and building standards Qualifications Experience as a carpenter in residential construction Knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and general construction practices Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical ability to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Basic carpentry tools required Job Details Full-time, W-2 position On-site role (no remote work) Compensation & Benefits Pay: $22.00 to $36.00 per hour (based on experience) Medical, dental, and vision insurance Short- and long-term disability insurance Paid time off and holidays 401(k) with profit sharing Equal Opportunity Employer Thoughtforms is an equal opportunity employer.
