Phlebotomist (temporary/hourly)

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Lansdale, PA.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm and rotating Saturdays.

Job Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.

Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests.

Enter patient information accurately and promptly.

Process billing information and collect payments when required.

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.

Maintain patient and specimen information logs.

Provide superior customer service to all patients.

Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.

Travel to additional sites when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

1 month or more of phlebotomy experience.

Additional Job Standards

In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.

Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Comfortable working under minimal supervision.

Reliable transportation.

Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.

Float Incentive: Additional $1.00 per hour plus mileage reimbursement.

Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.

Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.

Employees scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible for all benefits except PTO or FTO.
