Position Details

Position: Registered Nurse – PCU

Location: Kansas City, MO

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Nights | 3x12 (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Patient Ratio: 1:5

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of PCU/Stepdown RN experience

First-time travelers welcome

Active Missouri, Kansas, or Compact RN License (must be in hand)

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required

Experience with PCU, Stepdown, Cardiac Telemetry, MS/Tele, Neuro Stepdown, and Telemetry

Strong skills in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, telemetry, heparin and cardiac drips, central line care, PICC management, IV therapy, blood administration, chest tubes, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, tracheostomy care, wound care, and rapid response

Comfortable floating between departments, units, and facilities as needed

Willing to work weekend and holiday shifts as required

No local candidates within 75 miles

Maximum 7 days of RTO at the time of submission

Epic EMR required

Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)

COVID-19 vaccine not required
