Social Media & Content Manager

Schedule: Ideally 2 days per week onsite

We are seeking a highly creative Social Media & Content Manager to join a growing consumer wellness organization. This is a newly created position designed to bring content creation in-house and build a stronger, more authentic social media presence across multiple consumer brands.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who truly loves creating content—not simply managing a social media calendar. The right candidate will be a hands-on storyteller who can take an idea from concept through filming, editing, and final delivery.

You will join a small, collaborative marketing team and work closely with Marketing, Product, Sales, Ecommerce, and Creative. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to make an immediate impact on brand voice, social strategy, and consumer engagement.

Own social content creation from ideation and concept development through filming, editing, and final delivery.

Create engaging short-form video, photography, and social-first content across multiple consumer wellness brands.

Develop content for platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Reels, YouTube, Facebook, and other emerging channels.

Partner with Marketing and Product teams to develop compelling content supporting product launches, campaigns, and brand initiatives.

Attend photo/video shoots, events, and brand activations to capture original content.

Support influencer marketing initiatives and collaborate with creators and brand partners.

Identify emerging social media trends, sounds, formats, and creator best practices.

Regularly bring new concepts and creative ideas to the marketing team.

Monitor content performance, engagement, and audience response and use insights to optimize future content.

Ensure content feels authentic, engaging, and relevant rather than overly promotional or advertisement-driven.

Help evolve the company's social media presence as more creative production moves in-house.

Approximately 4-7 years of professional experience in content creation, social media, digital marketing, influencer marketing, brand content, or a related area.

Experience working with consumer products, wellness, beauty, health, lifestyle, or similar consumer-facing brands strongly preferred.

Strong portfolio of content creation work required.

Demonstrated ability to independently create high-quality social content from initial concept through final edit.

Hands-on experience filming and editing short-form video content.

Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Reels, social trends, sounds, creators, and evolving platform best practices.

Excellent visual storytelling skills with an ability to make consumer products feel relatable and authentic.

Experience collaborating with influencers, creators, or UGC partners is a plus.

Proactive, creative, and comfortable bringing forward ideas rather than waiting for direction.

We are especially interested in candidates who are passionate about content creation beyond the traditional responsibilities of a social media manager. Personal content creation experience—including a creator account, personal brand, UGC portfolio, TikTok or Instagram presence, or other independent creative work is highly valued .

Creativity, storytelling ability, and the quality of your work are more important than simply checking a specific number of years of experience.
