Graduate, Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join the team in Lima, OH. This is a great opportunity for an OT who enjoys helping individuals improve their functional abilities, independence, and overall quality of life.

The ideal candidate will provide patient-centered care, develop individualized treatment plans, and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to support positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients to identify physical, functional, and occupational limitations.

Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, abilities, and goals.

Provide therapeutic interventions to improve strength, coordination, mobility, and functional independence.

Assist patients in developing or regaining skills needed for daily activities and work-related tasks.

Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and home exercises.

Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.

Document evaluations, treatments, patient progress, and discharge plans accurately and in a timely manner.

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.Recommend appropriate adaptive equipment, assistive devices, or modifications when needed.

Promote injury prevention, safe movement, and overall wellness.

Maintain a safe and supportive treatment environment.

Follow established clinical, safety, and compliance standards.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapist license in the state of Ohio or eligibility to obtain one.

Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Previous occupational therapy experience is preferred; new graduates may also be considered , depending on the role requirements.
