About the Role We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our outpatient physical therapy team in Sun City West. In this role, you will work under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists to provide hands-on care, implement treatment plans, and help patients reach their rehabilitation goals. Carry out physical therapy treatment plans in compliance with state practice act and board guidelines.
Document care and patient information accurately in the medical record system.
Serve as a primary member of the treatment team for assigned cases.
Maintain compliance with OSHA standards, infection control, and organizational policies.
Assist with training and mentoring Physical Therapy Technicians.
Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program (required).
Current Arizona PTA certification (required).

Minimum of 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience or equivalent.

Knowledge of physical therapy standards, practices, and equipment.
Familiarity with OSHA and infection control regulations.
Ability to recognize patient safety and fall risks.
Outpatient clinical setting with occasional community-based travel.
Collaborative, patient-focused therapy team.
