Head of Operations & Business Management

ABB Marine & Ports is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead operational strategy and execution across our Marine Systems business in the U.This role will play a key leadership position overseeing project management, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, quality, logistics, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring operational excellence and delivering a world-class customer experience.
Lead and drive day-to-day operational performance across the Marine Systems business
- Develop and execute business action plans aligned with strategic goals and growth initiatives
- Oversee budgets, KPIs, resource planning, and operational performance metrics
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and collaboration
- Partner with internal stakeholders and customers to deliver efficient, reliable solutions
Experience leading operations teams within marine, industrial, engineering, or technical environments
- Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and driving business performance
- Background in marine systems, electrical engineering, automation, or related industries is a plus
- Passion for customer success, operational excellence, and team development
