What You’ll Be Trusted To Do

Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for infants through school-aged children

Confidently step into new family environments with warmth and professionalism

Lead engaging play, creative activities, and structured routines

Supervise meals, naps, and transitions with care and intention

Maintain a calm, safe, and nurturing atmosphere

Communicate clearly with parents and Philia’s team

Who Thrives in This Role

You have at least 3 years of professional childcare experience

You are adaptable and comfortable with short‑notice assignments

You are warm, composed, and naturally confident

You take pride in professionalism and presentation

You are CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)

You can pass a comprehensive background screening

You have reliable transportation within Washington, DC
