Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Contract | Days | Onsite
Provide direct patient care across Progressive Care Unit (PCU), Medical-Surgical, and Observation units within a large academic medical center system spanning two campuses
Float throughout multiple Adult Health units as part of a resource float pool, supporting staffing needs across departments including PCU, Med-Surg, and Observation teams
Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to a diverse adult patient population with varying acuity levels
Adapt to varying unit environments and patient populations, including occasional coverage in the ED or PACU for adult inpatient patients awaiting bed placement
Complete required facility learning modules prior to and during assignment to maintain compliance
Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience with recent experience within the last 12 months
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona (no disciplinary actions on license; PCU skills checklist completed within the last 12 months
Previous travel nursing experience is highly preferred
Experience working in a large, high-acuity academic or Level I Trauma center environment
Flexibility with unit assignments, shifts, and departments to support placement efficiency
