RN Labor and Delivery
Contract | Full-Time | Days | Onsite
Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients, documenting responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments.
Obtains and monitors physiological data of patients, observes physiological manifestations, and intervenes when necessary.
Assists physicians in patient examinations and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.
Interacts with patients and families to share care plans during hospitalization and at time of discharge, and informs them of hospital procedures.
Delegates tasks to support staff and makes referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel.
Associate's Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
Strong ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques effectively.
Ability to respond effectively to the cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
