Role: Comprehensive Cataract Surgeon

SightMD is seeking a Comprehensive Cataract Surgeon to join its growing Pennsylvania team, with opportunities based in Little Neck, NY . This position offers the opportunity to step into an established practice with a strong, built-in patient base following the retirement of a long-standing physician.

Provide comprehensive ophthalmologic care, including advanced refractive cataract surgery.

Manage a full clinical and surgical caseload consistent with practice volume.

Maintain a clinic and surgical schedule that may include weekend and evening hours, consistent with SightMD's patient-access model.

Work alongside the office's existing surgeon during a transition period, with the goal of assuming full responsibility for the patient base as that surgeon steps back.

Build relationships with referring optometrists and primary care providers in New York to sustain and grow the practice's patient volume.

Participate in the equity partnership pathway available within the first two years of employment.

O. with completion of an accredited Ophthalmology residency (fellowship training a plus).

Board certified or board eligible in Ophthalmology

Must hold an active New York medical license or be able to obtain licensure prior to start.

Recent residency or fellowship graduates and experienced surgeons (early-to-mid career, generally 2-10 years in practice) are both encouraged to apply.

Demonstrated surgical competence in cataract surgery; additional subspecialty training is a plus.

Strong clinical and surgical judgment in comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract care.

Willingness to work a full schedule consistent with a 24/7 patient-access model, including weekends and evenings as needed.
