Build/Welds custom products from prints and raw materials.

Follows established safety, quality and environmental policies, procedures and methods applicable to the work area.

Welds including spot welding, tig and mig (Positions: flat, horizontal and vertical)

Sets up welders, fabricates (cuts, welds, and drills), grinds and finishes.

Positions and clamps together components of fabricated metal products preparatory to welding.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

· General welding coursework completed preferred (For entry level welder).

2 - 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

· Experience working with sheet metal.

Ability to distinguish material types including Aluminum, Steel and Stainless Steel.

• Ability to pass a basic welding test prior to being hired.
• Computer skills including MS Office and ability to learn Parker business systems.
