Mental Health Counselor (Full-time & Part-time)

This position is focused on fostering a safe and nurturing environment that promotes the emotional and psychological well-being of residents. By facilitating daily activities and therapeutic interventions, the Residential Counselor helps residents build essential life skills and achieve greater independence. Ultimately, the major end result of this role is to empower individuals to lead fulfilling lives while receiving the necessary support for their mental health and personal development.
Available Shift:
Sunday to Thursday 4 pm to 10 pm (FULL TIME)
Saturday and Sunday 8 am to 4 pm (PART TIME)

High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience working in a healthcare or social services setting.
Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
Certification in CPR and First Aid.
Provide direct support and supervision to residents in a residential care facility.
Facilitate group and individual activities that promote social skills, emotional regulation, and personal growth.
Monitor residents' progress and document observations in accordance with established protocols.
Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
