Mechanical Design Engineer
Our client is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to work with our Tampa, FL office. This position will independently perform a variety of assignments requiring the application of standard design engineering techniques for a small project or selected segments of a larger project. They must be capable of exercising independent judgment in evaluating, selecting, and applying standard design engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to make minor design adaptations and modifications. This position normally requires a 4-year engineering degree from an ABET accredited program
Equivalent working knowledge/prior experience as a Co-op or Intern or advance degree may be considered in lieu of a 4-year engineering degree.
Working knowledge of various computer software packages and automated engineering and design equipment.
This position requires 3-5 years of prior relevant experience regarding engineering in the Built Environment.
AHCA, Hospital, Science & Technology, Energy, or Education sector experience is highly desirable.
If not already accomplished, should be pursuing a Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Certification in order to be prepared for Professional Engineering (PE) Registration once required work experience is achieved. Licensure is not required at time of application.
Prior job assignments typically include project engineering responsibilities.
