The Operations Supervisor is responsible for directing the work of associates in the warehouse/distribution environment and ensuring safety and quality across the department.

Assign duties and examine work for quality, neatness, and conformity to policies and procedures.

Schedule job assignments for periodic and/or special inventories.

Monitor, direct, and when necessary perform accurate shipping of outbound orders.

Manage employee time including edits and corrections.

Mentor and coach associates, including corrective actions and performance evaluations.

Assume responsibility for monitoring zoning and product database development during the receiving process.

Perform training of policies, procedures, and Standard Works to ensure processes are followed.

Assist in the development of processes and process improvements.

Bachelor’s degree (B.A./Minimum of three years of experience in warehousing, distribution, or a related field.

Computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Business Acumen - Knowledgeable in current and future policies, practices, trends, technology, and information affecting the organization.

Leading People - Develop and implement strategies to maximize employee performance and foster engagement.

Managing Transitions / Change Management - Effectively plan, manage, and communicate changes in processes with stakeholders.

Relationship Management - Build and maintain relationships with internal partners to complete projects and achieve organizational objectives.

Travel Requirements

Expected to travel approximately 25% or less.

A passport is not required, but is recommended.
