URGENT* Telemetry RN / Registered Nurse

Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Telemetry Nurse at SJHMC, you'll play a crucial role in our patient care team. Your expertise will be instrumental in caring for patients admitted to our unit, many of whom are funneled in from other units. This unique patient mix provides an excellent opportunity to build on your education and experience in specialized service lines such as cardiac, telemetry, orthopedics, neurology, critical care, surgical services, and emergency. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center is a 30-bed medical telemetry unit. The unit cares for a wide range of medical conditions, including liver disease, kidney disease, diabetes, and cardiac conditions. Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. To be successful in this role, you will possess keen assessment skills, acute critical thinking, and a patient-first mindset, driven by a profound enthusiasm to help others. Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.

Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.

Serves as an advocate for patients needs by demonstrating holistic care practices.

Utilizes SBAR format tool to notify physicians, and other providers of clinical findings, performs nurse-to-nurse report at the bedside.

Job Requirements Required Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

RN License with the state of Arizona

Preferred Bachelors of Science in Nursing

One (1) year recent acute care RN experience
