RESPIRATORY THERAPY- CRT- NIGHTS

Job Description
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in improving the respiratory health and quality of life of elderly patients.

Responsibilities

Conduct respiratory assessments and develop individualized care plans for geriatric patients

Administer respiratory treatments and therapies, such as oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and chest physiotherapy

Monitor and adjust ventilator settings for patients with respiratory failure

Educate patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions as needed

Requirements

Valid state license as a Respiratory Therapist

Minimum of 2 years experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with geriatric patients

Strong knowledge of respiratory diseases and treatments

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Willingness to work night shifts and rotating weekends

BLS and ACLS certification
