About the Position

Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT-NICU) Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of two years required License: Ohio RRT license required Certifications: NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, PALS Must-Have: Experience in PEDS, PICU, NICU (high level care level 4) Description: NBRC, BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS certifications are required. A minimum of two years of experience is required. Applicants must have an Ohio RRT license in hand. The role involves working with RRT-NICU, PICU, and CVICU with pediatric patients. The position may require floating to other facilities. Travelers will need to complete two fingerprinting processes. The first fingerprinting is required onsite for facility requirements immediately prior to starting. The second fingerprinting will be completed through the agency. All work history must be included in the application profile. All copies of required certifications must be provided upon application. References must be recent and from managers or supervisors in the specialty field. Required certifications need to be active with no pending items. The facility does not accept any license violations. Candidates must be nicotine-free, with a negative drug screen required within 12 months of start. Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to the facility for one year from their previous end date. BCI/FBI prints are time-sensitive and must be completed within 48 hours of signing a contract. Candidates may extend their contract for up to 18 months, after which a six-month break is required. Modules are billable up to a maximum of 4 hours, and additional time is non-billable. Annual modules are also billable, applicable only to those contracted for a continuous year. Modules are recorded via the designated system.
